On 21 January 2026, the President of Circle the Med Forum and former Prime Minister of Greece, George A. Papandreou, met with the President of the Hellenic Republic, Constantine An. Tassoulas, in Athens.

During the meeting, Mr. Papandreou invited the President of the Hellenic Republic to place the 9th Circle the Med – The Mediterranean Forum, that will take place in May, under the auspices of the Presidency of the Hellenic Republic. President Tassoulas agreed to extend his auspices to the Forum.
