Vladan Đokić is the Rector of the University of Belgrade and a Professor of Urban Planning, Urban Design, and Urban Morphology. In his current role, he is actively engaged in addressing the challenges facing higher education in Serbia, including the defense of academic autonomy and the role of universities in times of political and societal uncertainty. His work explores the relationships between urban form, society, and sustainability, reflecting a broader interest in the role of knowledge and institutions in shaping contemporary social processes.
