Beatrice Decker is an Environmental Engineer (M.Sc., Gernamy and M.CE, USA) specializing in waste management and recycling technologies. Since October 2022, sha has been serving as Head of International Relations and Project Engineering ar RETech, where she leads the project "Internationalization of German GreenTech SMEs" under the Export Initiative for Environmental Protection of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection. Previously, she taught at the Technical University of Berlin at the Chair of Circular Economy and Recycling Technologies and conducted research on phosphorus recovery from sewage sludge ashes and heavy metal reduction. She also initiated RETech's international conference in 2024, "Transforming Islands' Waste Management: Overcoming Challenges with Sustainable Solutions."
