Chrysa Efstratiou is an Agricultural Scientist specializing in Hydraulics, Soil Science, Agricultural Engineering, and Renewable Energy Systems. Her work is centered on the Water-Food-Energy nexus, with a focus on Nature-Based Solutions for climate adaptation, regenerative and restorative aquaculture, amrine renewable energy, science and environmental policy for the Blue Economy. She is a research associate at the Institute od Oceanography, Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR) in Greece.
