Dr. Panagiotis Grammelis is Director of Research at the Chemical Process and Energy Resources Institute of CERTH (CERTH/CPERI). During the last decade, he has participated as scientific responsible to 142 research projects with a total budget of 51.3 million euros, funded by the European Commission, the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation (GSRI), the Public Electricity Company (PPC) and other international industries. He has 25 years of experience in energy production and environmental issues, specializing in the utilization of alternative fuels and low carbon energy technologies. He participates in the coordination committee of ETIP-Bioenergy, in the Biomass Panel of the RHC-ETP Platform (Chairman) and in the Committees of the GSRI for the Environment and Decarbonisation. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the international journals IJER, IJGW & Energies Journal / Fuels and the scientific committees of international conferences (GCGW, EUBCE, WSED). He is co-author in 420 papers in scientific journals, international conferences, workshops and books, with 4830 citations and h-Index 39 according to Scopus.
