Martin is a global ocean finance and blue economy expert with 20+ years of experience. He serves as ocean and finance specialist at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) working with financial institutions to rebuild ocean prosperity, biodiversity and health. He is also a Director/Trustee at both the Marine Conservation Society (a leading ocean conservation charity in the UK) and the New Economics Foundation (a sustainable-development think tank). Previously, Martin served as Senior Strategic Expert in Blue Economy at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), where he worked on sustainable and inclusive Blue Industry.
