Rita Roque is a Senior Officer in International Relations in the Department of International Affairs of Turismo de Portugal. Working in Turismo de Portugal, since 2020, Rita joined the European affairs team during the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union (PPUE) that has driven the review and update
of the strategy for Tourism (last revised in 2010). Currently, works with communication and promotion of European projects in the tourism sector, and on the development of international partnerships between the counterparts of Turismo de Portugal at European level.
