Senior Economist and policy analyst at the OECD Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities (CFE)

Sandrine Kergroach is a Senior Economist and policy analyst at the OECD Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities (CFE), where she serves as a focal point on artificial intelligence and leads efforts to promote competitiveness and integration in more responsible global value chains. Her work aims to enhance a place-based perspective in innovation, industry and employment policies. She also supervises the development of the OECD Data Lake on SMEs and entrepreneurship, which monitors performance, business conditions and policies.

Previously as Head of SME and entrepreneurship, policies and mainstreaming, Sandrine supervised activities on SME digitalisation, scaling up and internationalisation. Prior to joining CFE, she worked at the OECD Directorate for Science, Technology and Innovation, where she coordinated the OECD STI Outlook and policy database.

Sandrine holds a Doctorate in Economics on Innovation from the Technical University of Berlin, and Master degrees in corporate strategy, applied economics in statistics, and modern history from Paris Dauphine-PSL and Paris Sorbonne.
