Konstantina Marousi is a Civil Engineer with specialisation on transport planning and traffic engineering and she holds a Master Degree in “Intelligent Transportation Systems and Project Management” from the University of Patras.

Since 2014, she works as a Research Associate and Project Manager at the Civil Engineering Department of University of Patras, in the Division of Environmental Engineering & Transportation. During these years, she also acts as an independent consultant and advisor, collaborating with public actors and private companies in Greece and Europe.

Over the last 6 years, she has developed and coordinated numerous national and international projects in the field of sustainable development, mobility and circular economy. Her main research interests include management of environmental-related matters in the framework of smart cities; green procurement and life cycle cost; energy efficiency in buildings; circular economy; transport planning, management and policies; ITS; traffic modelling and simulation; transport economics; sustainable urban mobility. She has also organised several scientific conferences, Living Labs, workshops, events, meetings and business forums bringing together stakeholders around the world.
