Austrian Mobility research

Ingrid Briesner is currently working for Austrian Mobility Research gGmbH and is a senior project manager with 23 years experience at both national and European levels, in research, studies and network development, focused on Mobility Management and Travel Awareness.

In 1997 she started her carrier with the implementation and development of MOBIL ZENTRAL - the 1st Austrian Mobility Center. Since then she is also involved in European projects and has been the coordinator of e.g. the Intelligent Energy – Europe (IEE) – STEER project ENDURANCE – EU-wide establishment of enduring national and European support networks for sustainable urban mobility. Moreover, she has been partner in several Interreg South-East-Europe, Interreg MED, Central Europe Programme and Horizon 2020 projects. As a certified Business-Trainer and Coach she puts a focus on creative training programs and live-long learning.

Currently, she is the Communication and Dissemination Manager of the CIVITAS PORTIS project, partner in EnerNetMob and since 2014 responsible for the coordination and further development of the European Platform on Mobility Management (EPOMM) - a network of governments in European countries that are engaged in Mobility Management.
