Stanko Blagojević
Assistant Minister for International Cooperation and European Integration in the field of Culture

Stanko Blagojević was born in 1975 in Belgrade. He graduated in the field of philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade in 2002. In 2004, he obtained the title of specialist in terrorism and organized crime at the Faculty of Political Sciences and in 2006 he graduated from the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the RS. In 2013 he received his master & degree at the Faculty of Political Sciences. He defended his doctoral thesis at the same faculty in 2016.

 

From December 2004 to 2020, he was employed in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia (that is, in the Assembly of Serbia and Montenegro from 2004 to 2006), in the Department for International Relations, i.e. the Department for Foreign Affairs as: secretary of the delegation to the PS CES, PS NATO, PS Mediterranean, IPU, PS SE, and on the bilateral level he was the secretary of numerous delegations of the National Assembly of Republic of Serbia, at the level of working bodies, high and highest level, including inter-parliamentary sessions, as well as a member of the Executive Committee of the Organizational Committee of the 141st Assembly IPU. In the period from October 2007 to July 2008, he worked in the Ministry for Kosovo and Metohija as an advisor to the State Secretary. From 2008 to 2014, in two convocations of the National Assembly of Republic of Serbia, he was also a foreign policy associate at the Cabinet of the President of the National Assembly of Republic of Serbia. From May 2014 to August 2020, he worked in two convocations of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia as a foreign policy advisor in the Cabinet of the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. From November 2018 to October 2021, he was also the Head of the Department for Foreign Affairs of the National Assembly of Republic of Serbia.

 

From November 2021, he was engaged in the position of Head of the Cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister (by authorization), and later he was appointed Deputy Head of the Cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information. He completed a series of internships and professional training in international parliamentary and other organizations.

 

He published a large number of texts in scientific journals and is a regular speaker at scientific conferences, primarily in the field of philosophy.

 

He speaks English, and is fluent in Russian and German.
