Giuseppe Sciacca has been working for the CPMR General Secretariat since 2006. He is an expert in EU policies (notably Energy and Climate and Maritime Policy) and has excellent skills in team management and drafting political and technical reports.

In July 2017, Giuseppe was appointed Executive Secretary of the CPMR Islands Geographical Commission. In this role, he manages the daily activities of a network of 21 island regional governments. Giuseppe has a long experience in advocacy and relations with the EU institutions. He is also very well versed in designing and implementing EU projects.
