Project Manager of Green Growth Interreg MED Project, BETA Tech Center UVIC-UCC

Maria Calderó Pascual has a degree in Biotechnology and a Master in Water Science and Technology from University of Girona (Spain). Currently she is at the last phase to obtain the PhD in Limnology from Dundalk Institute of Technology (Ireland). During her academic career she has joint different national and international research groups leaders in the study of the ecological status of aquatic systems and wastewater treatment. In the BETA Technological Centre, she is currently project manager of the Green Growth Interreg MED project, a network of territorial cooperation projects that promote the green and circular economy for a sustainable development in the north Mediterranean region. She also works for other projects funded by ENI-CBC-MED to look for synergies between different actors that are responsible of the European Green Deal and Sustainable Development Objective implementation based on European Union regulations.
