Ms. Panagiota Venetsanou is a graduate of the Department of Geology at the School of Natural Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where she graduated in 2011. Following this, she pursued the Master's Program in Applied and Environmental Geology within the Department of Geology at the School of Natural Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

After obtaining her master's degree, she continued as a Ph.D. candidate at the Laboratory of Technical Geology and Hydrogeology within the Department of Geology at AUTh. In 2020, she was awarded her Ph.D. from the Department of Geology with a dissertation titled "Hydrogeological simulation of the coastal alluvial aquifer of the Havria River Basin, Chalkidiki, under conditions of climate change," which was funded by ELIDEK under the framework of the 1st Doctoral Scholarship Announcement. She has many publications in this topic.

After obtaining her PhD, she was employed by the Cyprus Institute as a Technical Environmental researcher.

Currently, she is employed as an Environmental Consultant at ATLANTIS Environment & Innovation Ltd. Her primary responsibilities include the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA, SEA, PEIA), serving as the lead expert in hydrological simulations at the river basin and aquifer levels, as well as studies on air quality and excavation dewatering.
