Paolo Mossone is an economist with expertise in the field of local development and sustainability. After a long career as a project manager and consultant for companies and public administrations, he is currently the Managing Director of IMC Foundation - International Marine Centre, research center of the Science and Technology Park of Sardinia, Italy.

PM coordinated several EU projects and has been responsible for or participated in several international, national and regional projects and programs in the field of aquatic resources management and sustainable development. He has also participated as a researcher in many project activities, with the main aim of identifying and involving international partners to transfer technology and knowledge to local researchers and SMEs.

PM has been invited as Speaker at conferences and seminars, and has authored or co-authored several peer reviewed articles, conference papers and technical documents and reports.
