She is currently Co-Head of the Dpt of Digital Transition and Climate Policies in CluBE. She is an Environmental Engineer with a PhD in Energy and Environmental Management of the Hotel Building Stock. She has been awarded twice with a postdoctoral scholarship from the Greek State (2014-2016) and the Portuguese State (2013-2014) for energy efficiency policies. From 2016 -2021 she was an adjust Ass. Prof. at the Dpt of Env. Eng, DUTH – Greece. Since 2019 she has been collaborating with the European Parliament for the scientific support of an MEP on the portfolios of energy efficiency in the built environment, energy poverty, and eco-design of materials. She is one of the two technical experts of the Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH) in Greece.

She has participated in more than 20 Research Projects. During her involvement, she led several project work packages and served as a deputy project manager.

She is an author of 3 dissertations and 47 journal papers, conference papers, and book chapters and an editor of 2 books published by Springer. 

Finally, she has a strong R&D background, mainly in energy poverty mitigation, building energy efficiency and energy performance, the use of renewables in the built environment, and indoor environmental quality and thermal comfort.
