Teresa Jordà i Roura
Minister of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda, Catalonia

Born in Ripoll in 1972.

Degree in Modern and Contemporary History from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

She was mayor of Ripoll (2003-2011) and worked in municipal politics for 19 years, until she left the City Council in 2017. He has served in the Federation of Municipalities of Catalonia leading cultural policies and has also worked for municipalism at the Employment Service of Catalonia (SOC). She has also been vice-president of the Eduard Soler de Ripoll Foundation and president of the Guifré Foundation.

In 2011, he made the jump to state politics and went on to head the Girona list in the Congress of Deputies and, since then, he has occupied a seat in the lower house. In total, the citizens of Girona have given him their trust during three legislatures (2011, 2015 and 2016).

During the last legislature she was Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food.
