Emmanuel Noutary is Managing Director of ANIMA Investment Network. He joined the ANIMA team in Marseille in 2006 to develop the network’s activities in the field of innovation support.

He oversaw ANIMA’s contribution to the European program called Medibtikar (Euromed Innovation & Technology Programme) in which he enabled the creation of several business angel networks in Morocco, Tunisia and Jordan.

Since then, he has created and led several major projects at ANIMA on the promotion of investments and their impacts for the territories, on the development of the private sector, the mobilization of Diaspora talent, the development of clusters, etc.

He is the architect of the THE NEXT SOCIETY initiative, on the promotion of ecosystems to support innovation, launched by ANIMA in 2017 with thirty partners from the Euromed zone.

Prior to ANIMA, Emmanuel spent 12 years in the telecom, internet and communication sector: consultant, design director, and marketing director for a pioneering operator of Internet telephony. He has also collaborated on several publishing projects, notably with “Le Nouvel Economiste”, the African Development Bank and ANIMA. He holds a 1st-year master’s degree in management sciences, and a Master 2 Degree in Telecom and New Media Management from the University of Paris IX Dauphine.
