Mr. Thomas Parissis, MSc (Μale), Chief Operations Officer . Mr. Thomas Parissis holds a Diploma in Mining Engineering and Metallurgy from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and an MSc in Metals and Energy Finance from Imperial College London (UK) for which he was awarded a scholarship by Eugenides Foundation. During his career he held various positions in both production and commercial departments in industrial companies and also offered consulting services on business development for various institutions. In September 2011 he published his first book titled “Mine Expansion and Financial Implications” » (ISBN 978-3845405643). His consulting experience includes provision of services to Private sector Businesses and private non- Profit Organizations such as techno economic studies, feasibility studies, strategic planning, business plans, marketing plans, market analysis etc. Thomas has been involved in various European Funded projects on Research and Innovation (FP7, Horizon 2020 and Horizon EUROPE) in the project management, in research activities and in deliverables preparation.

Since 2011, Mr. Parissis has been a senior researcher in various EU funded R&D projects and held the role of the Commercial, Dissemination & Exploitation, Innovation Manager in more than 20 Horizon 2020 projects related to Sustainability, Circular Economy, Energy Efficiency (EE), Energy Efficiency building (EeB), Factories of the Future (FoF) and Nanotechnologies, Advanced Materials and Production (NMBP). Moreover, Mr. Parissis has been included in Environmental studies and has been leading tasks relevant to Sustainability Assessment and Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) for private, public and H2020 projects (e.g. Buildings, Energy efficiency, Materials etc). His specialties include project management, technology transfer, business development, sales management, business management, customer relations, marketing, negotiations, networking, project planning, strategic planning, market analysis, business planning, product development, transforming research to product etc. Since 2018 Mr. Parisis is the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of STRATAGEM Energy Ltd, a Research & Innovation company based in Limassol, Cyprus.
